Beginning with students entering first grade in the 2027-28 school year, the district is introducing optional attendance zones for families living in select areas of Oceanside. Eligible families will soon be notified directly.

More than 100 parents attended the January Parent University Workshop on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how to guide their children with this new technology.

A sense of belonging is essential for students to succeed in school. OHS students met with sixth graders to explore how to make that happen.

Sixth graders at School #8 in Oceanside raised money through two walkathons for the Tubarere School in Rwamagana, Rwanda, never imagining that one day they would meet their far away peers.
On Friday, January 23, the two schools met face-to-face for the first time in a videoconference.

Oceanside High School has for the third consecutive year been named to the College Board’s Advanced Placement (AP) School Honor Roll, earning an overall Silver designation. This reflects the school year ending in June of 2025.
